I tried pandaremit a few times kind of on a whim, i was like, okay this is actually cheaper than using my bank. The fees feel fair and the exchange rate was decent too, so overall it makes sense money-wise. Transfers weren’t always lightning fast, but they did arrive without any issues. The app is easy enough to use, though I do wish the update messages were a bit clearer sometimes.

I’ve used pandaremit.com a few times now, and the transfer fees seem fair compared to what I was using before. I was kind of expecting some surprise charge to show up at the end, but it didn’t, which was nice. The site could maybe be a little smoother in places, though it’s not a big deal at all. Overall, I’m happy with it so far.

I use PandaRemit because it actually supports the countries I send money to, which somehow a lot of other apps still mess up. The currency options are clear too, so I’m not stuck jumping between a bunch of apps every time. it’s annoying that other services make something this basic such a hassle, but PandaRemit has made it way easier for me.

The biggest issue for me was that card payment wasn’t available. It felt like one of those annoying policy loopholes where they can say they offer payment options, but not the one most people actually want to use. Frustrating.

I checked the rate against my usual bank and this one was better, so I went ahead and used it. If you’re comparing options, it’s definitely worth taking a quick look here before sticking with your bank.
